Yanting Li

Yanting Li graduated from Indiana University with an M.A. degree in Chinese Pedagogy. Prior to coming to Northwestern, she taught Chinese language courses at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Middlebury Language Schools and Indiana University. She also has a passion in learning languages and speaks Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, English and some Japanese.

Research: 
Yanting's primary research interests include computer assisted language learning, language pedagogy and computational linguistics. She is constantly exploring ways to integrate educational tools as well as multimedia materials into her language classes to enhance students' learning experience. She is also interested in using computational methods on large-scale corpus to reveal linguistics features of the Chinese language.
