Chin-Hung Chang earned her M.A. in teaching Chinese as a second language at National Taiwan Normal University, and is currently working on her doctorate in Learning Design & Leadership at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. In addition to teaching Chinese language courses at all levels, her expertise includes language assessment. She is a certified Oral Proficiency Interview tester, Writing Proficiency Test rater, and AAPPL rater. Her research focuses on new learning in the digital era. She is interested in investigating how technology impacts language learning and how technology expands language learning. One of her on-going research projects is to examine AI-enabled applications to facilitate students’ speaking outside the classroom.
