Study Abroad in Korea Information Session 2023-2024

Learn about various study abroad options in Korea from program returnees, faculty, and staff from the Global Learning Office.

There are a variety of programs in which NU students can participate . Semester and academic year abroad options are available through the NU-affiliated programs at Yonsei University and Ewha Woman’s University. Summer abroad opportunities are also available.

To learn more about Study Abroad programs, please contact Ihnhee Kim or Eunmi Lee. Please note that ALC majors and minors must also consult ALC's Director of Undergraduate Studies to discuss which courses will count towards meeting ALC degree requirements.

NU partner Programs in Korea

Ewha Woman’s University

Ewha Woman’s University, located in Seoul, South Korea, offers a coeducational international program for Visiting Students. Students in this direct enrollment program can take a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate-level courses, which are taught in English as well as Korean language classes through the University’s Korean Language Center.

Yonsei University

Through Yonsei's Office of International Affairs, students in this direct enrollment "visiting student" program have access to over 300 undergraduate courses taught in English per term as well as Korean language classes through the university's Korean Language Institute in Seoul, South Korea. Students with advanced Korean skills are eligible to take regular Yonsei courses taught in Korean in other departments.
